Who is responsible

This Privacy Policy applies to OwnTempo: Potty Training for iOS and Android. The app is published by itWorksinUA ltd, Kyiv, Ukraine. For applicable data protection laws, itWorksinUA ltd is the controller of personal data described here, while service providers process some data on our behalf.

Data OwnTempo handles

The data involved depends on which features you choose. Care records may be considered health or otherwise sensitive information in some places.

Permissions and actions you control

• Camera: requested only after you choose to scan a private Family Sharing invitation. Camera frames are processed for the scan; OwnTempo does not intentionally upload photos or video.
• Notifications: requested only for reminders you create. Reminder timing and notification content are handled by the device's notification system and may appear on the lock screen according to your operating-system settings.
• Export and share: OwnTempo opens the operating system share sheet only after you choose an export or handoff. The recipient apps and people you select then handle that copy under their own terms.
• Family Sharing: optional. Core use does not require an account or cloud synchronization.

How data is used

We use data only to:

• provide the features you request;
• authenticate adults and synchronize invited family care spaces;
• keep accounts, services, and devices secure;
• operate, troubleshoot, and improve app reliability;
• answer support, privacy, and deletion requests; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

OwnTempo does not expose an API for sending child records, notes, custom identifiers, or custom logs to Analytics or Crashlytics. Those services collect their standard technical and automatic events. Diagnostic and basic analytics collection are enabled by default in the current app.

Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for advertising or cross-app tracking. Google processes data as a service provider for the Firebase services used by OwnTempo, subject to its contracts and security controls. Google Sign-In may also process sign-in data when you choose it.

We may disclose limited data if required by law, to protect people or the service, or in connection with a business reorganization where the recipient must respect this policy and applicable law.

Legal bases

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on the performance of our service agreement, your consent or explicit choice for optional features where required, our legitimate interests in operating and securing OwnTempo, and compliance with legal obligations. You can use the core app without creating an account or enabling Family Sharing.

Retention and deletion

• Device-only data remains in the app's private storage until you delete individual records, use Settings → Privacy and diagnostics → Delete all local data, or remove the app's data through your operating system. Device or cloud backups are controlled by your platform provider.
• Account and Family Sharing data is kept while needed to provide the account or family space, until it is deleted in the app, or until we complete a verified deletion request. Records shared with other caregivers may also form part of their family data; the deletion page explains how this is handled.
• Firebase Authentication keeps authentication information until account deletion. Google states that, after deletion is initiated, authentication data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days; logged authentication IP addresses may be kept for several weeks.
• Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. Analytics data follows the retention controls configured for the connected Google Analytics service.
• Security and support records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or a legal obligation.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• access, correct, or receive a portable copy of personal data;
• delete personal data or your account;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; and
• complain to your local data-protection authority.

OwnTempo provides JSON and CSV export, record editing and deletion, local data deletion, and authenticated account deletion. You can also email development@itworks.in.ua. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before acting on a request.

Children's privacy

OwnTempo is an organization tool for adult parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children, and children do not create OwnTempo accounts. Adults may enter a child nickname and care information. If you are not authorized to handle that information, do not enter or share it in the app.

International processing and security

Firebase Authentication is operated from the United States, while other Firebase services may process data on Google's global infrastructure. Google describes its transfer safeguards and certifications in its Firebase privacy documentation.

OwnTempo uses app-private device storage, encrypted HTTPS connections, Firebase Authentication, App Check, restricted backend access, and data-minimizing service boundaries. Firebase encrypts supported data in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, so please protect your device and account credentials and report suspected misuse promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when OwnTempo, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change when we publish a revision. If a change materially affects how personal data is handled, we will provide additional notice where required.
