Who is responsible
Sweet Family Moments is published by Davydov Dmytro, Ukraine (“we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact development@itworks.in.ua.
This policy explains how the Sweet Family Moments mobile application handles information. The app is designed for parents and other adult caregivers to keep private family memories. It is not directed to children, and children should not operate the app or provide information to us.
Information handled on your device
The app may process the following information locally when you choose to add it:
- Photos, videos, and audio recorded or selected by you.
- Captions, standalone Notes, tags, dates, and Profile assignments.
- Family and Profile display names, images, backgrounds, and accent colours.
- Edit instructions, selected highlight intervals, rendered films, thumbnails, and other replaceable previews.
- Local archive, integrity, backup, reminder, and app-preference data.
The app uses this information to create, organise, play, edit, verify, restore, and export your memories. It does not automatically upload this family content to us. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, face recognition, or artificial-intelligence training.
Permissions
The app requests access only when a feature needs it:
- Camera and microphone: to record a video and its sound. Gallery, Notes, browsing, backup, restore, and export remain available if you deny these permissions.
- Photos or system media picker: to import an item you select. If it is stored by a cloud photo provider, that provider may download it under your relationship with the provider before the app copies it locally.
- Notifications: to send a generic local reminder after you allow reminders. Reminder text does not contain a child’s name or family media.
- Files or document picker: to export, back up, share, or restore an archive at a location you choose.
The app does not request location, contacts, phone, Bluetooth, face-recognition, or advertising-tracking permission. You can change permissions in device settings. Some related features may stop working after permission is withdrawn, but saved memories remain available unless you delete them.
App diagnostics and analytics
Release versions automatically use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google, for basic product operation and stability. The app does not currently provide an in-app control to disable these diagnostics. Removing the app stops future collection.
These services may receive ordinary technical information such as app version, device and operating-system information, installation and session identifiers, approximate network-derived region, fixed app screen names, automatic app events, stack traces, and crash timing.
We configure the integration so that:
- No advertising identifier, advertising storage, ad personalisation, or app-level user ID is used.
- Custom analytics contain only fixed app-ready and allowlisted screen events.
- Dart and Flutter error messages are replaced with an error type and fixed reason before reporting.
- Family photos, video, audio, names, captions, Notes, dates, tags, file paths, archive identifiers, and screenshots are not intentionally sent.
Google may process this diagnostic information in countries where it or its service providers operate. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Creative content downloads
The app may check a signed public catalogue to download current stickers, frames, filters, animations, fonts, or similar creative assets. A delivery provider necessarily receives ordinary request information such as IP address, request time, and technical HTTP data. Catalogue requests are not personalised with a Family, Profile, Moment, archive, media, date, or behaviour identifier.
Backup, export, and sharing
Backup, export, restore, and sharing happen only after you choose a destination or receiving app. That may be a local file location or a third-party service, such as a device storage provider or cloud-backed document provider. The selected provider handles transferred information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control an independent copy stored by you or a provider you choose.
Retention and deletion
Family content remains in the app’s local archive until you delete it or remove the app’s data. Ordinary deletion provides a disclosed 30-day local recovery window. Delete now removes selected content from retained local versions. Uncommitted staging and safe orphan data are removed after up to 72 hours, temporary render or export work after up to 24 hours, and redacted local operational logs after no more than 14 days.
Removing the app or its local data does not delete independent backups, exports, shared copies, or copies held by a destination you selected. Delete those copies through the relevant file location, receiving app, or provider.
For release diagnostics, Google Analytics user-level and event data is configured to expire after two months. Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before it starts removing them from live and backup systems. Diagnostic records are not directly tied to a Sweet Family Moments account because the app does not set an app-level user ID.
If you contact us, we process your email address, message, and any information you deliberately include so we can respond, resolve the issue, protect the service, or meet a legal obligation. Do not send family media unless we specifically agree on a safe support process. Ordinary support correspondence is removed no later than 24 months after the request is closed unless a longer period is required for a legal claim or obligation.
No selling, advertising, or automated analysis
We do not sell family content or diagnostic information. The app contains no advertising SDK, behavioural advertising, public Profile, social feed, face recognition, developmental assessment, or automated analysis of a child’s image, voice, or behaviour.
Security
The app uses app-private storage, validates supported media before commitment, and records checksums so it can detect incomplete or changed archive content. Network communication for approved diagnostics and public creative assets uses the service provider’s encrypted HTTPS transport. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we do not describe the app as providing absolute security or encryption of every user-selected backup destination.
Your choices and rights
You can review and edit Profile information, captions, Notes, tags, and other local details in the app. You can delete saved content, revoke device permissions, stop local notifications through device settings, and choose whether and where to export or back up an archive.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights relating to personal information processed by us, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and a complaint to a competent data-protection authority. Contact development@itworks.in.ua to make a request or object to future diagnostic processing. We may need enough information to understand and verify it, but we will not ask you to email family media merely to identify yourself. Because the app has no account or app-level user ID, we may not be able to identify a particular Firebase diagnostic record as yours.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process app diagnostics based on our legitimate interests in maintaining app stability and understanding basic operation, using the data-minimisation limits described above. We process support communications to respond to your request and operate the service, and records that we must keep to comply with law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and, when a change materially affects how information is handled, provide an appropriate notice in the app or store listing.
