Child Board helps parents, caregivers, teachers, and families create simple visual boards for routines, tasks, and rewards. We collect only the information needed to provide account login, board sync, image storage, sharing, and notifications.

No ads We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
No sale of data We do not sell your personal information.
Your content Boards and uploaded images are stored so they can sync across your devices and shared users.

Information We Collect

Account information Email address, Firebase user ID, login status, account metadata. To create and secure your account, sign you in, sync your boards, and support account recovery.
Board content Board titles, board settings, image slot count, crossed/completed states, board order, bonus settings, sharing roles, and share codes. To save, display, sync, reorder, edit, share, and restore your boards.
User-selected images Images you choose from your device gallery for board cards, covers, or rewards. To display the images on your boards and sync them to your account or shared board members.
Notification data Firebase Cloud Messaging token, notification permission status, platform, and notification request records. To send optional push notifications about shared board updates.
Technical data Basic app/platform data generated by Firebase services, such as service identifiers, timestamps, and error/status fields. To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the app.

Child Board does not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, calendar data, health data, payment card data, or government identifiers.

Images and Child-Related Content

Child Board is designed for family and care routines, so you may choose to upload images that include a child, a family member, a classroom item, or a personal routine. These images are selected by you from your device gallery. Please upload only images that you have the right and permission to use.

The app is intended for use by adults, parents, guardians, caregivers, and educators. Children should not create accounts or upload personal information without permission from a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited situations:

Third-Party Services

Child Board uses Firebase services provided by Google, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. These services process information needed to operate the app.

Data Retention

We keep your account information, boards, images, sharing records, board order, and notification tokens for as long as needed to provide the app or until you delete your account or request deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, backup, or dispute-resolution needs.

Backup copies and service logs may remain for a limited period before they are deleted or overwritten through normal system processes.

Security

We use Firebase security features, authenticated access, and cloud security controls to help protect your information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

Firebase and other service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal bases and service-provider terms for these transfers.

Children's Privacy

Child Board may be used by adults to support children's routines, but the app account should be managed by an adult. We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or provide personal information directly. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
